Sunday saw me planting a cache on Black Mountain but again one that would require a bit of effort to compete. A tad over 5k walk, mainly along pretty little foot-trails with the odd fire-trail thrown in but one little demanding climb to close to the tower. Of course I stuffed the listing but we won't go into that here lest the geocachers rejoice in my error.
Well, the weekend did start on Friday with a message from a friend who was going to do my Red Hill Meander at night. The pity is Jeremy has such long legs and I just finished a tally of stout and a glass of wine. Still, I managed to keep up with him and his woofer as we did the 7.k hike around Red Hill and the views are quite good at night. Puddles were icing up as we finished the traverse.
