The hard bit was choosing where to leave the trail. Regular followers will be glad to know I picked the wrong spot. The next landscape was a nice woodland, fairly level and I spotted a few trail markers hanging from trees. They were sort of leading in the right direction until I couldn't find any more and Nursery Creek (read swamp) needed crossing again.
The swamp was navigated then into a more dense forest. There were animal paths that could be followed but eventually it came time to just bite the bullet and wade through thick scrub (as per photo) following the GPS arrow. Got to some massive boulders which I recognised by memory from the cache listing. Still took me a good 15 minutes before I spied my quarry. Did the log bits and thought I should really try to find the art........which again from memory was 80m away. However, it started to drizzle so I thought it time to beat a retreat (literally). Beat myself a new path down to the nearby swamp but cut the corner and shortened the overall distance. All up, it was a 8.2 k hike , very enjoyable but I regret I didn't find the art.
The walk was very good for the soul and I solved most of the dilemas facing the world (except my own)!
