A really interesting expedition to a part of the Canberra region that will soon be under water. Sometimes, we do show respect for the future survivability of the critters we share this planet with. Much dollars would have been spent transporting the boulders and putting them in place to make a future underwater habitat for our native fish. I was on a caching expedition and the first was hidden in the beginning of the boulevard of boulders. All good and I should have just followed the boulevard to find the second cache. But oh no, Indiana Kimbo decided to follow the arrow on his GPS that led up and down steep blackberry strewn slopes. Many cuts and slips and falls later we rejoined the boulevard before making a final ascent to another scenic lookout. Some triffic views of the Cotter, courtesy of the iPhone as the weather forecast was ordinary so no DSLR.
Bushwalking & Geocaching a match made in heaven.
