Yep, neglecting this again. Canberra Day, time for a stroll along the shores of the Murrumbidgee. Stage 1 of the walk was along a well graded fire trail, with a couple of cache diversions. Then the really pleasant part through the Casuarina forest and past lovely sandy beaches to basically the lowest point of the ACT (if Thomas is right). To be honest, there was a time that I seriously considered chucking off the clothes and going for a swim but then the size of the monstrous carp sunning themselves in the shallow sort of put me off!
Bushwalking & Geocaching a match made in heaven.
