Powertrails

2/12/2013

Oooh, looks like I have been neglecting this.  December was marked by a couple of geocaching powertrails whilst the Finance Minister was overseas.  Firstly, a blast down the Hume Highway to the Woodland Series right next to Melbourne Airport.  Was a great day with what turned out to be a 34k bike ride/push, the only downer being some extremely long grass that needed to be pushed through. Luckily, not an overly hot day but I did run out of water.  Those first few beers didn't touch the sides.  The Motel room's spa (within diving distance of the bed) - Photos on Facebook) got a workout!

The second powertrail was with a couple of mates near Wagga.  A much hotter adventure - 35 degrees but most of it was drivebys.  Still, very thirsty work and a great dinner to celebrate as we wandered the streets of downtown Wagga Wagga.
